We love Christmas-time

Anna is not so sure about Santa



We have had a crazy month, Anna has been getting sick over and over. She saw a doctor 6 times during the last month. Three ear infections, the swine flu, Stitches, plus her year old visit. Whew! I am keeping my fingers crossed that she will be well for Christmas.

Sammy is so excited for Christmas! He always wants to go see the lights in the neighborhood. He loves the decorations, Anything about Santa, and of course the trains- Such a fun time of the year!

Good Friends

I love to watch my kids playing together. They are such sweet kids. Anna is always getting into whaterver Sammy is playing with-and he is usually a good sport. (He does hide in his room sometimes to play alone) I cannot believe how old they are now.

Book of Mormon to Ipod

Hey everyone,
Just in case you are interested. DJ spent a couple of hours getting the Book of Mormon formatted to the ipod audiobbok format. This makes it so that you can listen to the Book of Mormon in the audiobooks section so that it saves your place. i.e. you can go listen to music and then when you are feeling spiritual then you can switch back over to your place in the Book of Mormon. Let us know if you want a copy. Our stake presidency challenged us to read the whole thing in 100 days.This was our solution to deal with the distraction of the kids and trying to read the Book of Mormon at the same time. Just in case your curious to read it in 100 days its 7 pages a day or 26 hours of listening. DJ also did it in Portuguese. He will soon be adding Jesus the Christ to that collection as well. Transfer method will have to be creative though it is 439MB any ideas ?

Anna is Walking

Anna started walking just before she was nine months, now she gets better and more independent.

We have so much fun with the kids! We took the kids to Wheeler Farm, Sammy loved the animals. But he really loved! the tractors.

Anna is getting in trouble...again

Marketstar

Dj has been at his new job almost two weeks now. He is working for Marketstar/HP. He is really enjoying the job. It is only for three month now..but we will see.

Crawling

Anna learned to crawl this last week. She started on Thursday and has been on the move since. And as everything goes into her mouth I have to keep a much better eye out. I am having to baby-proof everything earlier than I had planned. Life just got a bit crazier.

We went with my sister and her boys to ride Thomas in Heber, Sammy loved it!!!!They had so many fun things to do and see. The maze made out of hay bales, meeting Sir Topham Hat, and a petting zoo. We met old friends making balloon animals and had little Thomas stickers for the boys. Sammy has talked about it so much. It was a great adventure for him.

We got together with friends from Wymount and had a play date. These boys were all born around the same time. And it was fun to watch them grow up together. Then we moved around the same area after moving so the boys can still play together.

Then we all had girls with in several months of each other. It was so fun to watch the boys and their sisters playing together. They are so fun!

Job Search

DJ's company lost a couple big clients and he lost his job as a result so we are looking for a job. If you know of anything in Customer Service Managment that is where a most of his experience is.

Blessings

We blessed Anna today. It reminded me how blessed I am. The weather was so scary, and snow was pouring down- Yet so many friends and family made sacrifices to be there. Grandma Lowe who had a miserable time in the canyon-my sister Diana who came on crutches from a shattered ankle, Dave who drove hours in blizzard conditions. Some giving up there meetings and callings, to drive in conditions that were awful. I felt overhweled by their love.

Sammy has memorized these stories, and acts like he is reading them. It is really long...mainly for the grandparents.

Happy St Patricks Day

Anna is a bit over three months now, she rolled over on Friday. She is so smiley! Sammy loves her and is very cute with her.

Anna is growing so fast. We all love her so much. She is a very sweetbaby, and very happy as you can see.

The holidays

New Years was great, we bought a bunch of party hats, noise makers...and Sammy ran around yelling "Happy New Ear" (yes ear, that was not a typo) It was so cute.

Sammy loves everything about Christmas. Lights, Christmas Trees, Santa, Presents, and of course all the treats being brought over by friends. Christmas was so fun, Sammy opened everyone's presents...and was so excited for everything...toys or socks. It was a great day.

I had my wisdom teeth taken out the Monday before Christmas, so I looked a bit like Quasimodo.

My mother-in-law gave me a great disguise for photos. I was a bit medicated throughout most of our Christmas activities...but it was all so much fun with our little family. I was just so grateful for DJ, my mother, and my mother-in-law. I could not have made it though without them. DJ has been especially amazing....helping out so much!
